Next week on July 4th and 5th the annual EUROoCS conference will be held in Grenoble in France. Xavier Gidrol and Fabrice Navarro from CEA, who are the chairs of EUROoCS 2022, welcome you on behalf of the Scientific Program Committee and the Local Organizing Committee to an exciting face-to-face meeting after two years in remote mode. Over 450 registered participants, much more than expected, will meet at the World Trade Center to exchange results by the 56 oral presentations and 162 posters, listen to the 6 keynote lectures, learn from the special sessions and poster corner, and start new collaborations. And might become one of the winners of the many EUROoCS 2022 awards. Due to the overwhelming number of participants the social evening has been moved from the idyllic La Bastille to the famous Olympic Stadium in Grenoble, surrounded by the mountains, which is a fabulous place to renew or start national or international friendships and has plenty room for everyone.
This last hDMT newsletter before the summer break informs you about new researchers who joined the hDMT consortium, new publications, projects, research results and prestigious awards. The hDMT theme group meetings will be organized again at the hDMT partner locations, and the annual hDMT Consortium meeting will be an in person meeting too.
Let’s hope that Covid will not compromise all future plans.
