The Cell Symposium 2023 is a meeting where researchers from all over the world gather to showcase their understanding of how viruses behave, how we can predict viral outbreaks and how antiviral treatments can be developed. At this event, Inés García-Rodríguez, Pamela Capendale and Nanci Ferreira were awarded the Best Poster Award for their posters, “Genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screening identifies new host factors important for Parechovirus A infection”, “Genotype specific neuropathology of PeV-A infection in Unguided Neural Organoids” and “Human intestinal enteroid 3D infection to evaluate small molecule antivirals against HuNoV GII.4″.
