In November 2023 Sabine Middendorp has started as the new project leader of the Biomed One-Stop-Shop project. Sabine has been Associate Professor at the UMCU and Regenerative medicine center Utrecht (RMCU), where she was leading research on congenital intestinal disease by using patient-derived intestinal organoids. In 2020, she made a transfer to a small biotech company, where she was leading translational research on cell therapy products. With her background in both academic and biotech research, she is very motivated to lead the NXTGEN Hightech One-Stop-Shop project and bring new exciting technologies closer towards application.
