The Netherlands faces major societal and economic challenges. The high-tech sector plays a crucial role in the transitions needed to overcome these challenges. The new HTSM call 2024, a collaboration with top sector Holland High Tech, aims to stimulate fundamental and application-oriented research in the field of High Tech Systems and Materials in the Netherlands.
Budget and deadline
A total maximum of 7.5 million is available for this call. 2.5 million euros of this budget are provided by NWO and 5 million euros from top sector Holland High Tech. A total of eight applications is expected to be awarded.
Furthermore, there is a co-funding requirement: co-funders must contribute at least 20% of the total application amount.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday 10 October 2024, before 14:00:00 CEST.
Matchmaking
On Tuesday 9 July, NWO is organising a matchmaking activity for the HTSM call. Matchmaking aims to connect researchers from different disciplines and professionals from the public and private domain in order to come up with innovative research proposals.
