ZonMw program More Knowledge with Fewer Animals

In the Off Road 2025 grant round, the ZonMw program More Knowledge with Fewer Animals, together with the Dutch Society for the Replacement of Animal Testing, allocates €500,000 for the New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) investment module. This module is designed to encourage researchers to conduct their projects without animal testing, instead use animal-free research models, known as NAMs. Applicants can request an additional amount of up to €30,000 on top of the requested grant amount, to cover the costs associated with the development and/or use of NAMs.  More info here.
