Read moreIn the Off Road 2025 grant round, the ZonMw program More Knowledge with Fewer Animals, together with the Dutch Society for the Replacement of Animal Testing, allocates €500,000 for the New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) investment module. This module is designed to encourage researchers to conduct their projects without animal testing, instead use animal-free research models, known as NAMs. Applicants can request an additional amount of up to €30,000 on top of the requested grant amount, to cover the costs associated with the development and/or use of NAMs. More info here.
