NC3Rs webinar: Organ-on-a-chip technology - from a scientific and 3Rs perspective
This webinar will showcase some of the organ-on-a-chip (OOAC)
research the NC3Rs has funded through its CRACK IT and research
funding programmes.
Dr Jos Joore, CEO and co-founder of MIMETAS and Professor Julien
Gautrot, School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary
University of London will give insights into their research,
highlighting the scientific and 3Rs benefits of using OOAC
technology. The target audience includes anyone who is currently
working with or who is interested in using OOAC technology (e.g.
model developers, end-users, in vivo
researchers who are looking to adopt alternative
approaches).
The topics covered will include:

- Professor Julien Gautrot, QMUL: 'An ovarian cancer model on a chip'
