2nd International Organ-on-Chip Symposium
The 2nd International Organ-on-Chip Symposium 2017 (IOOCS17) will be hosted at the Institute of Bioengineering at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland on 2-3 May 2017.
In this two-day symposium researchers from different fields are brought together to discuss how chip technology and (stem) cell biology can be combined to develop powerful microsystems that mimic the physiology of real organs outside the body. The ability to generate such 'organs-on-chip' from human cells has the potential to revolutionize health care.
You will be inspired by international leaders in the field of organ-on-chip technology, including:
- Nancy Allbritton
- Kevin Healy
- Roger Kamm
- Anne Grapin Botton
- Christine Mummery
The symposium is a unique opportunity to meet these speakers, and interact with other international scientists in an interactive poster session and a 'Meet-the-Experts' lunch.
Registration is now open for all interested researchers and costs only CHF 160 (= € 150).
