11th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Experiments in the Life Sciences

Abstract submission and registration is open now. Deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2020.

Innovative technologies, including Organ-on-Chip technology, is one of the central themes of WC11 in Maastricht. Among the 7 interesting keynote speakers are Don Ingber (Wyss; Organ-on-Chip), Joseph Wu (Stanford; stem cells for precision medicine) and Ger Janssen (Philips; digital twins for health).

The program has now been published on the WC11 website. Various symposia highlight Organ-on-Chip models from different perspectives: scientific, industrial and regulatory.
EUROoCS will be represented with a booth.

During the congress, the nominees for the Hugo van Poelgeest price will present their research in an Innovation Lab session. The nominees are Anke Tukker (IRAS, UU; nerve), Berend van Meer (LUMC; heart) and Carlo Paggi (UTwente; joint).
