BI/OND wins the Accenture Innovation Award Health Theme

Accenture Innovation Awards is a year-round program that brings together innovators from different spheres and helps them elevate their ideas.

During the annual innovation competition for start-ups Accenture Innovation Awards 2018 in Maarssen, 2 November 2019, prizes were awarded in the themes health, security, mobility, food, climate, education, finance and life & work sectors. Five start-up finalists were nominated per theme. The finalists presented their concept to a jury, investors and accelerators.

Within the Health theme, the start-up BI/OND won the Accenture Innovation Award. BI/OND provides biologists with dynamic microfluidic chips that in combination with human cell cultures mimic the minimal functionalities of human organs.
