The consortium of partners from science, industry and regulators, responsible for this domain will celebrate the submission of this application in two different events.
Webinar ‘Opportunities in Lifescience Technologies for the hightech ecosystem’ (in Dutch)
Organizer: High Tech NL
Date: 9 November 2021, 3.30-5 pm
In a roundtable discussion Berend van Meer (hDMT/LUMC/UTwente) and Willem Endhoven (High Tech NL) discuss the interesting innovation and business opportunities for the Dutch high-tech sector in the Life Sciences domain, and the strong position of the Netherlands in the field of Lab-on-Chip, Organ-on-Chip, Artificial tissues and organs, and stem cell production technologies to make the step from ‘Lab to Fab’.
Visit the High Tech NL website for more information and registration.
Live event ‘From Science to Market: Biomedical Production Technology’
Organizers: hDMT, MinacNed, MESA+, Nano4Society
Date: 23 November 2021, 2-5 pm
Location: The Gallery, University of Twente, Enschede (Hengelosestraat 500, 7521 AN Enschede)
Biomedical production technology fails to keep pace with innovations in the biomedical domain. The (academic) knowledge in the Netherlands is at a very high level in the field of Lab-on-Chip, Organ-on-Chip, Artificial Organs and Cell production technology, but is not (properly) converted into products. The main reason for this is that a multidisciplinary chain is required of suppliers of high-quality specific components in both the technological and biological field.
MinacNed, hDMT, MESA+ and Nano4Society organize a Micro Nano Symposium, as part of the international MicroNanoConference 2022 to address this topic. Speakers will present steps that are currently being taken to establish an ecosystem with a unique and first-of-its-kind production chain in the Netherlands.
Registration is free, but you need to register in advance.
