Thibault Sampon, master student Biofabrication (Utrecht University), gave a plenary talk at the student conference ISCOMS in Groningen and was awarded the first prize for Best Plenary Presentation. The comment from the jury was that they were very impressed with how easily Thibault could explain something that difficult. At ISCOMS Thibault presented the results from his current internship, in the group of Prof. Roos Masereeuw under the supervision of Dr. Anne Metje van Genderen (Utrecht University), where is he working on building a vascularized proximal tubule model using melt electrowritten scaffolds.
