Lito Papamichail has earned her BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics in Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Greece. She recently obtained her MSc diploma in Regenerative Medicine and Technology from Utrecht University. As of February 2023, she started her PhD project in Erasmus MC, joining the groups of Martin Hoogduijn and Luc van der Laan. During her PhD, Lito will focus on the development of a multi-organ-on-a-chip (MOC) system to study transplantation related insults. This project is part of the Convergence Flagship Organ Transplantation initiative, a collaboration between Erasmus MC, TU/Delft and EUR.
